Salary Band Negotiable based on experience
Holidays 28 days (pro rata) including bank holidays per annum

General Description
The OMM Centre, located at 315 Health Club in Lancaster, combines a retail experience for visitors together with remote customer service.  Although the role focuses primarily on OMM Ltd, support is also provided for UK customers of our partner brand, Nordisk. The successful candidate will have retail experience and a passion for the outdoors. This is an opportunity to join a friendly and dynamic team, with potential for progression within a growing business.

Reporting to the OMM Centre Director, the role will include, but not be exclusively limited to: –

• Answering queries and providing advice to consumers in person, as well as by phone, email and web chat
• Problem solving consumer returns queries and warranty claims
• Assisting with customer purchase decisions, and processing in-store sales
• Maintaining shop presentation and monitoring stock levels
• Providing support and working at OMM events, including onsite remote retailing

Essential

• Provide excellent customer service
• Knowledge and understanding of outdoor and running technical kit (OMM specific training will be provided)
• Computer skills: Outlook, Excel, web tools
• Good communicator, both verbal and written
• Work as part of a team
• Problem solver
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to work alone under direction and own initiative.
• Weekend working required

Desirable

• Off road runner, ideally with experience of mountain marathons
• Previous experience working in retail
